On International Women’s Day
A certain person asked me — “Do you consider yourself a strong woman?”- I didn’t have to spend much time thinking on it — and I said yes -
Being strong doesn’t imply — you have to be right all the time, confident all the time, self-sufficient all the time…
It means — in your weak moments, being able to embrace your vulnerabilities, your flaws, your dependencies, your breakdowns..
..Being able to discuss your problems when you know you need it to be out..

This woman with me was married at the age of 13. At the age of 18 she had her first daughter… fast forward to 10 years, she is now a proud mother of 4 daughters — and it was so refreshing to talk to her and her husband — although she was married at an early age, she has taken a stand for her girls — she wants them educated and get married at a more appropriate age — she made me so happy and so proud, she didn’t let her downfalls come in the way of her kids..and the best part — her partner supports her and her ideas 100%.
.
Dedicated to all the super women out there — HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 🤗🤗😇😇
